What is the workload?
Medium. The goal is not to drown you in readings, but to give you the a few meaningful core readings and many optional readings if you want to expand your knowledge.

Certificate in Diplomatic Studies and MA in Democracy and Governance.
Does this class counts towards the MSFS Leadership Requirement?
Yes. Taking this class will enable you to fulfill that requirement.
Can students suggest guest speakers?
Yes! Students are welcome to co-create the learning environment and suggest guest spekaers for the class and for activities outside the class.
Is this class about democracy?
This class is about democratic leadership. While we will talk here and there about democracy, the focus of the class is personal leadership development and developing traits, skills and mindsets of a democratic leader. Its action-oriented class with focus on practical tools and frameworks.
When is the class?
Fall semester, Thursdays from 3:30 until 6pm EST.
Will I have to work on a team project?
Yes. Student teams are the place for learning, applying the tools learned in the class, and experimenting with new tools to learn faster.
